LIGA Football 11v11 (“the game”) is developed by Manvel Avetisian, an individual developer. Manvel Avetisian is responsible for the data described here. This policy covers the app on Google Play, the game in your browser (liga.manvel.dev and its test pages) and this website (manvel.dev). None of them use cookies, advertising or third-party analytics.
The app on Google Play
The app does not collect, store or share any personal data or usage data. It works fully offline and has no permission to use the network. No account or sign-in is required.
Google may collect data when you download apps through Google Play. This is governed by Google’s Privacy Policy, not by this policy.
Server logs
When your browser asks our server for the game or this website, the server records it, as web servers do. There are two logs:
- The usual log holds your IP address, the time, the address asked for, the browser’s description of itself and the page you came from. We use it to run the server and to keep it secure, which is our legitimate interest. It is deleted after 14 days.
- The counting log holds no IP address and no browser description. It holds the time, the site, the page or file asked for, how much of it was sent, whether all of it was, and whether the request looks like it came from a phone, a desktop or a robot. We use it to see how many visits there are and whether people wait for the game to download. It cannot be linked to you. It is deleted after 13 months.
Play statistics in the browser (your choice)
The first time you start the game in a browser, it asks whether you want to share play statistics. Nothing below is sent unless you choose Share. You can change your answer at any time in Settings, Display.
If you share, the game tells our server when:
- a match begins or ends: whether it is a friendly, league, tournament or online match, and which match it is on this device (your first, your fifth, and so on);
- a league or tournament begins: its kind, league, difficulty and match length;
- a round of it is decided, and whether you played or simulated it;
- it ends: how many rounds it had and whether it was finished, won or lost.
Each message also says the game’s version and whether your device is a phone or a desktop. Messages contain no name, no player or device identifier and no score, and your IP address is not recorded with them. Your browser keeps the count of your matches on your device.
We use these numbers, with your consent, to learn how the game is played and improve it. They are deleted after 13 months. If you stop sharing, nothing more is sent and the count on your device is deleted. Messages already received cannot be removed, because nothing in them says they are yours.
Data stored on your device
Your settings, saved leagues and tournaments, tutorial progress and a random player identifier are stored on your device (in the browser’s local storage, in a browser). They are not sent to us, except as this policy describes. Uninstalling the app or clearing the site’s data in your browser deletes them.
Playing online (browser only, your choice)
Online play exists only if you use it. When you play a friend:
- Our relay server (liga-relay.manvel.dev) connects the two of you and may pass your match data between you. It handles your player identifier, the name you chose and your IP address. It logs requests like the usual log above.
- Your browser connects directly to your friend’s when it can, so each of you can see the other’s IP address. To find that route it asks a public server run by Google (stun.l.google.com), which sees your IP address. This is governed by Google’s Privacy Policy.
- At the end of the match, we keep the result: the room, the time, the game’s version, both players’ identifiers and names, the score and how the match ended. We keep it for as long as online results are kept for ratings. To have it removed, contact us.
Online accounts (browser only, your choice)
You can add your email address in Settings, Account. We send a code to it through our email provider, Resend, and keep the address with your player identifier. A code stops working within minutes. The record used to limit how many codes are sent includes your IP address; it stops being used after an hour and is removed the next time anyone asks for a code. The results of your matches can be linked to your account’s email address. You can delete the account in Settings, Account, which removes the address and its link to your player identifier. Results that were recorded with your email address stay until you ask us to remove them.
We use this data to provide the account you asked for.
This website
This website uses the server logs above. Its gameplay page shows a video from YouTube, in YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode, so your browser connects to Google when the video comes into view. Playing it is governed by Google’s Privacy Policy.
Your rights
Where the GDPR or a similar law applies, you have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to object to its use or restrict it, to receive a copy of it, and to withdraw consent at any time without affecting what happened before. You can also complain to your data protection authority. To use these rights, contact us. We can only find data that can be linked to you, such as an email address or player identifier.
Children
The game is not aimed at children in particular and does not ask anyone’s age. If you believe a child has given us an email address, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes
If the game starts to process other data, this policy will be updated before that version is released, and the date above will change.
